Chiropractor defined in medical dictionary as "Someone who practices chiropractic. Chiropractors work to manipulate the spine with their hands to realign the vertebrae and relieve the pressure on the nerves. The International Chiropractors Association believes that patients should be treated by spinal manipulation alone while the American Chiropractors Association advocate a multidisciplinary approach that combines spinal adjustment with other modalities such as physical therapy, psychological counseling, and dietary measures."
Back pains are common but the root problems vary. It could be because of injuries, bone problems like scoliosis or osteoporosis, muscle spasms, stress and so many others that affects the back. People at times recognize the need to seek medical advice and at times jumps into conclusion that it is just mere stress from sitting for a long period of time in front of the computer, sleeping in a certain position producing stiff muscles, and the likes. And it is even less often that people thinks of Chiropractors that specializes in back pains and management.
Pain Management is the specialty of chiropractors. They evaluate the patient by knowing the patient's pain and medical history. There is a possibility that there have been a misdiagnosis or missed out information. More often than not, those with chronic pain have gone to many different doctors but not chiropractors. But it is where they should have gone, because chiropractors do not just give you pills to take out the pain, but uses that pain to know the cure.
Chiropractors are advantageous most especially to those with chronic pain. And the pain will help them know where to look, what to do, and to rid of the pain not temporarily BUT permanently.
