I have this favorite preparation of Korean Stew for they vary, which I learned upon research. This one I do came from a known tertiary hospital that I used to salute the meal preparation (sad to say, management change affected their service). Let me then share with you how I do it at home.
Ingredients:
Beef cubes, Soft bones cubes, salt, ground pepper, soy sauce, chopped celery, oil, crushed garlic, chopped onions, Knorr seasoning, sugar, achuete water, carrot cubes, sliced leeks, sesame seeds, beef broth.
Procedure:
Marinate meat in salt, pepper and celery. set aside.
Fry meat until half done. Set aside.
Saute garlic, onion. Add pre-fried meat. Season with soy sauce, knorr seasoning, and sugar. Add beef broth. Simmer until tender. Add achuete water and simmer. Add carrots, leeks, sesame seeds. Simmer again.
Serve hot. May sprinkle a little more of sesame seeds and leeks. SLURRRRP! Try it, it's a family favorite now here at home ;)
