People have a headache and the first thing they do is pop in a medicine. In prevention, they wear sunglasses to avoid glare that may cause headache, stress that raises up their blood pressure, wear their lenses and eye glasses or avoid reading in the dark for possible eye strain and everything else that they perceive the reason for their headaches.
BUT for migraines, do you know that you can also prevent it by not taking in MIGRAINE PRECIPITANTS that can be found in the food that you eat? It is surprising that food can do this...but the rule EVERYTHING IN EXCESS IS NOT GOOD applies in food intake as well. Therefore, if you have migraine headaches, try avoiding over consumption of these foods:
cheese (except cottage, ricotta, cream), alcohol, aged meats/cold cuts, Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) including those in seasonings, nuts especially peanuts, soy beans. Some are affected by overly spicy foods like pizza (argh!), onion, salty foods, worcestershire/terriaki sauce, wheat, yogurt, mushroom, banana (I KNOW...so eat just half a banana) and do not dractically change diet!!! Like when you suddenly rule out caffeine in your diet, or suddenly over indulge in peppermint.
As I always say: HAVE A BALANCE DIET.
