Do you know how important it is for you to know your blood type?
Imagine being tried by times and got into an unfortunate accident that made you lose do much blood; so much so that you are going into shock. You were rushed to the OR (Operating Room) and time is the essence. If your blood type is known, there will be no need to do the blood testing that will cost you more time. But if not, you are increasing the risk of NOT making it. Or if you know but not for sure, you may also end your life by giving the wrong information because wrong blood type transfusion is a poison to your system.
How hard it is to have your blood tested, get the blood type and record and place it in your wallet along with your other identifications? (well, unless you have religious something against it) But any other like fear with blood or pricks…I’m sure whatever it is, it’s mighty small as compared to losing gallons of blood or death.
Sometimes we are putting our lives in our hands as much as we do in the doctors who help us, so do our part in saving it!
