Who does not love pizza! I do not know a single person who does not eat pizza...even my 4 year old loves it. BUT O simply cannot buy it all the time, and so have bought bits and pieces of ingredients to make a home-made pizza in a bread.
Any plain bread will do, my little girl loves the Filipino "pan de sal" more than any other, so I do the pizza in a pan de sal. I sauteed the mixture if I have time, or if not, buy the Del Monte Pizza Sauce and just add either slices of ham or hotdog, grated cheese on top and put it in a toaster.
A filling and colorful snack for your little ones! That's what you need if you have kids at home, imagination, less time consuming and healthy food. This one does have calcium. If you will learn to vary your prepared food to serve, you will meet their nutrient requirement. It may not be daily since they do not eat as much as adults do, but be sure to meet them all in at least 3 days. And remember to give them treats once in a while...like this PIZZA PAN DE SAL!
nice tip for snack variation. ty for this post sis.
That's a very good idea, and I have to agree about not knowing anyone who doesn't like pizza. It can get rather pricey if eaten all the time, and this Pan De Sal looks to help with that.
Nice post, Jenie!
