It is not only God's commandment to "love thy neighbor" that makes me respect this term BROTHERHOOD. I have personally experienced the advantage of it in my life.
Loving others makes my heart go bigger. Selflessness is the key to this, and the return of that love is more worthwhile than keeping that love all to yourself. It is always nice to see other people smile because of you. It is more than a wonderful feeling to be able to extend a helping hand to those who are not as fortunately gifted with something that you have. I believe that we are all gifted with different blessings, and sharing them with one another is the only way to make use of all that gift.
Caring is the living proof of God being within us. That we are doing what He wanted to do all the time. Give care freely and not withholding something back until you get something in return.
What we have right now is a temporary place to "practice" what we are expected to do in that "forever" we are hoping to reach. There are trials right now as a test to the freedom that we will be given next. And only the deserving ones are to gain entrance to that forever. And the deserving ones are the ones who follow His commandments...and those that are freely giving! Completely unselfish!
