I was once a busy body in one of the busiest business district in the country, Ayala Makati. I am one of those that walks briskly at all times in rhythm with the fast pace of life that is quite ordinary in this phase and age.
It seems like a lifetime ago, but I still remember that personal urge to work, work and work to my hearts delight. Not just for the fame, the growth and experience…but also for the wealth one needs to live in this material world.
IT IS NOT BAD TO WANT THEM OR TO NEED THEM...but it becomes so when it starts to be the center or the purpose of ones life. What of your spiritual life? Is it coming last after all those material concerns? That any church activity or service can only be done if there’s space left or if there’s no other worldly thing to do?
REMINDER TO KEEP IN MIND: Life on earth is far too short, incomparable to forever! And the way to forever is not through those worldly goods but through our Lord Jesus Christ!
