Total removal of a woman’s reproductive system (fallopian tubes and ovaries) brings about hormonal imbalance, and a factor to a lot of diseases. One of which is Heart Disease. It puts her at risk to having one in addition to other factors like age, lifestyle and diet. That’s the reason why hysterectomy is done as a last resort to treat a medical condition (like cancer, cysts...etc.)
This idea came to mind because just this morning, my mom have increased level of blood pressure. From her usual 120/90, it went up to a high 160/90. It’s alarmingly unusual, and her newly founded business is the culprit to blame for this irregularity, and her previous operation due to a cyst in her uterus.
She is at risk to a heart problem, and a reminder is appropriate for she may be pushing herself too much being overly involved in the said business.
