This is a misconception most moms used to believe in…but hopefully, this be a history to just look back to. Because eating for two would me the baby inside is as big as you!
Imagine having a tiny little bundle inside of you. It may be needing sustenance but it will not be feeding on even half of what you took for the day. And at times that it was able to consume more than necessary, it then results to you being taken to the Caesarian Section. Some may be happy about this, but maybe because they were not aware that natural birthing can be more beneficial to the baby. A few weeks ago, I’ve overheard it being discussed in a television show, and rose myself from slumber. The birthing canal provides the baby with the natural antibiotics to diseases. The creator has created everything perfectly…and so has provided everything that is needed even without the benefits of technology.
And so next time you get pregnant…additional 300-700 calories is appropriate, depending on your number of weeks of gestation, and of your status. Again, dietary consultation is recommended. Remember, you’re not alone in this anymore. And that there is a greater responsibility now upon your shoulder…you’re to take care of your life not for you alone but for another being totally dependent on you. Your little angel=)
