Are you having problem with storage? Like you don’t know anymore where to put your garden tools since your basement is getting a bit crowded with your other things? Or your garage is just enough for your car that your bike and your kids’ bike have no place else to go but the basement again? What you need is a
Metal Shed that you can place in your yard for as long as you want to. Its durability will withstand even the 10 year warranty being offered.
Imagine having a
Metal Garden Shed with all your tools and gadgets safely

inside. You don’t need to drag it all the way from your basement and back whenever you need to do your gardening that sometimes you postpone the luxury of taking care of your flowers just because of the tediousness of it all. Same goes for your bikes and motorcycles, that instead of leaving them outside in the rain because it won’t fit anymore in your garage, they now have a place of its own.
This is definitely the solution to the clutters you were thinking of just letting be.

We all know that food is important, but it cannot provide us with its purpose if it is not converted to the forms our body needs it to be, if we do not digest it properly. Except for water, vitamins and mineral salts that are directly absorbed by the body, complex substances needed to be broken down for our body to utilize it. And the very common process is called DIGESTION.
Digestion starts in the mouth, and so swallowing it like what we do when we are famished makes it skip the first stage. There are enzymes already in our mouth to act on the food...and continues on with the process as it passes through the next stages; esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine.
Complete digestion can be guaranteed after 24 to 72 hours, but what's important is the 6-8 hours when the food have passed the stomach and small intestine. This is where the enzymes are the most thus the food have been acted upon by them for our bodies use. Peak absorption of carbohydrate is in an hour, fat in 4-6 hours, and protein in between carbohydrates and fat.

I find such non-sense to be disapproving. Not in one way do I see it as healthy competition to hold a grudge over others just because it has been that way since you first walked. That clan after clan avenging or holding on to an old age misunderstanding is irrational. Can you not think on your own? Will you be continuing to be on the wrong just because your forefathers did? Or even be in the darkness of the truth just to hold your head up and not give in?
It is high time that you put the wrong to right. Whoever may be at fault ages ago, let it go and start living in harmony both inside and out. How easy it would be to live without ANY bitterness? You will be free to live, and you will be happier than your ancestors have ever been.
Or even of the present family competition within your circle of relatives…it is insanity wanting to be atop over the others. Why not be happy for the achievement of the others, or of their success? Remember, jealousy is of the darkness. And instead of criticizing your fellow, look into your own lives and live it with a thankful heart that you are where you are and not below it.
I see people victims of such evilness, either they themselves are tempted to look down on people or they themselves experience the harshness of such ungodly step downs. The reason mostly: pride and personal gains.
Do you see people having this jerky movement that seems to be more than just occasional? Or even so frequent that you only need to count a few seconds before it comes again?
Don’t laugh at them or be afraid of them because probably they only have this Tourette syndrome. It is a hereditary, involuntary movement that can be classified into Motor Tics (movement/jerks) or Focal Tics (voice/cough-like). The name Tourette came from the founder George Giles Dela Tourette.
There are some differences in the way a patient is affected, and how they lessen the attack. For some these jerks increases if there are people staring or observing him, but for some the more people there is the lesser the jolt as if he gets conscious more thus can control. Some also found out that their concentration affects the jolting or of how focused they are to a certain activity they seem to forget the movement (like for one, he is a painter and his paintings are perfected), or of how relaxed they are.
This is said to be a Neurological disorder that needs medication, and it helps also for them to know that they are not along in this; that he is not a freak nor is he being possessed by the devil.
Look left, look right…everyone is having their own trials to deal with. We have different problems to solve, but we have one solution to it…
PRAYERS!
Man is a mere creation. That no matter how knowledgeable we get, no matter how rich we get, we still cannot make it or our own. Because there is someone up there who can get us out when we cannot breathe anymore. And that no matter how hard the ordeal is, the peace within can still make us the winner. That’s our escape route, the understanding that we are not alone. And with one call, He can make us believe once again that we are just passing through this life, and what’s more important is the life after. That after all these pain will be a prize no greater than any other…A PERFECT LIFE WITH HIM.

One of the pleasing characteristic of a Filipino family is the closeness within the home. So much so that it is normal to see children of parents in their old age is still under their wings though way into the age of adulthood. It is in fact a talk of the clan if and when a child is independent enough to live on his or her own and decides to move out. It’s never a question of capability; it is your love for your family to stay together until you get married. As I have said earlier, even married children sometimes prefer staying with the family.
And it works both ways, the children repaying the care their parents gave them by this time caring for them now that they are in their needy stage; and the parents not ever wanting to let go of the kid they raised plus enjoying to witness the raising of their grandchildren.
It may not be believable for other countries not practicing the same tradition, they may not understand it much…but old fashioned Filipino’s are pleased with this kind of arrangement. Some who had acquired other cultures do not go with this set-up anymore, but the weekly visit to the parents continues on.
I have this favorite preparation of Korean Stew for they vary, which I learned upon research. This one I do came from a known tertiary hospital that I used to salute the meal preparation (sad to say, management change affected their service). Let me then share with you how I do it at home.
Ingredients:
Beef cubes, Soft bones cubes, salt, ground pepper, soy sauce, chopped celery, oil, crushed garlic, chopped onions, Knorr seasoning, sugar, achuete water, carrot cubes, sliced leeks, sesame seeds, beef broth.
Procedure:
Marinate meat in salt, pepper and celery. set aside.
Fry meat until half done. Set aside.
Saute garlic, onion. Add pre-fried meat. Season with soy sauce, knorr seasoning, and sugar. Add beef broth. Simmer until tender. Add achuete water and simmer. Add carrots, leeks, sesame seeds. Simmer again.
Serve hot. May sprinkle a little more of sesame seeds and leeks. SLURRRRP! Try it, it's a family favorite now here at home ;)
People tend to disobey an order more than to follow an advice. It is also easier to follow option laid down than when totally being restricted.
So here I am telling you NOT to totally take off fat in your diet but to somehow choose the "lesser evil" amongst the choices that you have and to take "some" and not "all". Quantifying and qualifying is the key.
An example is a choice of salad for a side dish to your meal. Why not go for vinagrette over thousand island dressing? It could be romaine or whatever as long as you do away with the mayo. Anyway you are having your desired meat over fish (see, give and take, cluck!). So long as you have your red meat lean and once to twice a week.
Another is the preparation, when it is as wonderful being grilled than fried in deep fat, or if again seldom only, then not deep fried but only a spray of olive oil (or any vegetable oil than any other) in your Teflon pan.
If you are having dessert, can you choose sherbet over ice cream, if you really would want it now than your fresh juicy fruits that will increase your fiber and not much of your sugar? And if you really are craving for cakes, the lesser icing the better. And maybe not the whole slice?
There are a lot of tricks and this is just some of those that can help you WEIGH down your choices. After all, you are not getting any younger and the risk are getting higher by the year.
REMEMBER prevention is better than cure!
Maybe to kids, yes...but to adults, it is not so common but it does happen.
I may then say that this is supposed to be a childish thing that has to fade away as we grow old. There’s the reason of vying for parental favors, or for community attention, or for personal growth. Supposedly, these kids are feeling their insecurities and trying to cope with their world. There is also that possibility of still at a state of not knowing themselves fully nor the proper norms…thus parents should be there for them to help them find themselves and build the confidence they need plus understanding of the importance of family and relationship; that this sibling rivalry should not exist.
And so it is sad to see grown ups to still have it with them at an age that they should have built the foundation of themselves. When they should have been molded the right way, the parents did not see the effect of this in the early years to the bond in the future. THEN AGAIN, adults are supposed to have a greater range of intellect to understand and put into action what is right and not the wrong. One just have to measure the importance of love in comparison to hate, of selfishness versus selflessness, and of good versus bad.

I see women hurrying off to the shadow of the trees, under their huge umbrellas, or simply not going out if there is a streak of sunlight.
Be reminded that NOT the all day sun is to be avoided. The morning sun is as important as the calcium tablets we are popping up every day. Because the sun is the natural way of helping us with the absorption of calcium. With calcium we need vitamin D which is in our skin but will be activated with the sunlight. And calcium is our defense to curving backs or falling of teeth during child birth. We especially need to replenish our calcium loss during lactation when our babies suck it out off us through breastfeeding.
Sunlight can only be harmful to our skin if you are over exposed to it and if you are going to toast yourself at the time of 9am to 4pm. Early morning sun is something to seek for. Now, go out and love the sun!
As I wake up in the wee hours of the morning with just the birds coming out of their nests, the rooster cocking in a far distance, and the sound of peace fading away…I am reminded of how the world is turning out.
If years ago I hear a few groans and grants, now I hear weeping's and complaint’s. If then I hear a murder or two, now I hear mass graves and clan problems. It’s not simple crimes anymore that moves people, as if the bigger and weighty, the better. I remember when we preserve lives of the animal kingdom, when we are so much concerned with the perishing of an animal…but now even the highest of the kingdom is being violated, killed or mutilated. The stench of evilness in every corner of the globe is getting stronger and stronger; the prophesy getting obvious in our lives.
Man is changing into beasts. Just as God Himself revealed in the bible, that the love of most will grow cold because of wickedness (Matt. 24:12). It seems that it is getting evident by the minute. In fact I almost do not want to watch the news because one tragedy after another just adds pain in my heart. In wonder I stare at the destruction, man-made and natural calamities alike. Try as I might to believe that there is still time left to change; I see it futile to hope. The End is coming. Apostle Timothy have written in his book about the “Godlessness in the Last Days” and in 2Timothy 3:1-4 he have enumerated what I see with my own two eyes, “There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure than lovers of God”…these things that more than half of the world population is becoming or presently is.
Prayers, prayers, prayers…the only chance we have, to be given a little more time to try and proclaim God’s words and invite others to at least have peace within their family, or within themselves; a chance for more people to GO BACK to the way of the Lord, the way to SALVATION.

I was watching Lifestyle Network and came across them featuring different restaurants specializing in cakes. My mouth started watering the moment "Finale of Boston" started showing how they bake these wonderful assortment of cakes, but the way they make art of it makes it more appealing making me visualize my very own bite per bite savoring of them.
ohhhhh how O wish I have a piece of whatever cake here with me now...
yes, yes I hear the numbers clicking in my mind, 100, 200, 3,000,000 calories. Haha. But remember that it is best that you feed that craving a little once in a while than suddenly bursting out and splurging.
We are all kids in the eyes of our parents, and being an adult does not exclude us from that. They love us today as much as they did when we were young. They miss having the right to cuddle us, pamper us and guide us. And it is but proper to NOT take that right to being a parent to us away from them.
There are times that we see sons and daughters treat their parents unkindly, or even badly. It’s not an excuse that they are old or senile or have deteriorating reasoning for us to take advantage of their frail minds and bodies.
We should in fact, take care of them and show them more that we love them; that somehow in return for all the love and care they selflessly gave us in our early years. And how do we do that?
BE RESPECTFUL at all times. Not only on how we speak to them, but also by valuing their opinions, advices and decisions.
BE RESPONSIBLE to have the life our parents hope for us to have. They give their all to provide for yes just so we will have a bright future. Let it not be a futile effort by throwing it away by taking vices, not studying hard and having peers that will lead you astray. We should be responsible enough to have a good life and in return be able to take care of them in their twilight years.
BE UPRIGHT by keeping God’s commandments all of these are ways to having a good foundation to a sturdy life.
BE PRAYERFUL because this will give assurance to parents that you are in good hands; that God will take care of you even in their passing…in addition to God blessing you each day.
One of the tragic event in our lives is when we cannot eat EVERYTHING we want to eat any more because it is a restriction the doctors have given us to avoid further problem with our health. This is why I have always believed in “taking everything only in moderation” and that “prevention is better than cure”.
But then again, not all believes that. Or not everyone can stop themselves in splurging. And so, a decade or so after the buffets and banquets…we are served bland, tasteless food that we almost could not tolerate.
THAT SHOULD NOT BE THE CASE! Because we can lessen the salt, but increase the taste with SALT FREE HERBS AND SPICES that are probably just in our backyards. They are 100% healthier than MSG’s (monosodium glutamate) like Ajinomoto or Magic Sarap.
We just have to know how to use them. Where to use them, with what dish…etc, etc. Here are samples of such:
FISH (breaded/battered) – fry mustard and onion; oregano, basil, and garlic; thyme,
BEEF (swiss steak/roast)– rosemarie and black pepper/bay leaf and tarragon
POULTRY/VEAL (BBQ/VEAL PATTIES) – clove, all spice and dry mustard; basil, garlic and oregano/dill, onion and sesame seed; tarragon)
GRAVIES/SAUCES (BROWN/CREAM) - chervil and onion; bay leaf and thyme; onion and nutmeg/white pepper and dry mustard; tarragon and thyme
VEGETABLES (cabbage/cauliflower) – caraway; onion and nutmeg/ basil; paprika and onion
There’s so many of them actually…thus we need not limit ourselves to salt and nothing more that when we leave off the salt, we leave nothing behind but TASTELESS FOOD.

Do you know how important it is for you to know your blood type?
Imagine being tried by times and got into an unfortunate accident that made you lose do much blood; so much so that you are going into shock. You were rushed to the OR (Operating Room) and time is the essence. If your blood type is known, there will be no need to do the blood testing that will cost you more time. But if not, you are increasing the risk of NOT making it. Or if you know but not for sure, you may also end your life by giving the wrong information because wrong blood type transfusion is a poison to your system.
How hard it is to have your blood tested, get the blood type and record and place it in your wallet along with your other identifications? (well, unless you have religious something against it) But any other like fear with blood or pricks…I’m sure whatever it is, it’s mighty small as compared to losing gallons of blood or death.
Sometimes we are putting our lives in our hands as much as we do in the doctors who help us, so do our part in saving it!
